01 / WHAT I BRING

Different layers.
One connected mindset.

From the infrastructure underneath to the intelligence on top. Build for the people using it, the engineers operating it, and the business depending on it.

01

Cloud architecture

A solid foundation for everything that comes next. Scalable AWS environments, thoughtful network design, and security built into the architecture.

02

DevOps & platform engineering

Connect development and operations through automation. CI/CD pipelines, versioned infrastructure, container platforms, and release practices that make production changes repeatable and reviewable.

03

Monitoring & observability

Know what is happening, why it matters, and where to look next. Service health dashboards, actionable alerts, and a connected view of metrics, logs, and traces.

DEVOPS IN PRACTICE

DevOps, from commit
to production and back.

DevOps connects the people building software with the people operating it. I turn that connection into automated pipelines, reproducible environments, and clear operating practices.

01

Build & validate

Turn a source change into a versioned artifact with repeatable checks before it gets near production.

  • Automated build and test stages
  • Image scanning and artifact versioning
  • The same artifact across environments
Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Docker
02

Provision & configure

Make environments reproducible through reviewed infrastructure code and consistent configuration.

  • Reusable modules and remote state
  • Reviewed plans and environment separation
  • Configuration, secret references, and drift checks
Terraform / Ansible / AWS
03

Release & recover

Give each release a controlled path forward and an understood route back when a health check fails.

  • Promotion rules and approval gates
  • Readiness probes and staged rollouts
  • Documented, exercised rollback procedures
Kubernetes / EKS / CI/CD
04

Operate & improve

Bring production signals back into engineering decisions so each change starts with better context.

  • Service indicators and actionable alerts
  • Incident ownership and operational handover
  • Review, learn, and improve the next release
CloudWatch / Grafana / Runbooks

Continuous feedback is part of delivery.Production signals, incident learning, and team feedback shape the next improvement.

Let’s talk DevOps

02 / UNDER THE HOOD

Everything connects.
Here’s how I see it.

Architecture is easier to understand when you can follow it. Explore cloud architecture, a DevOps pipeline, agent workflows, and observability—one step at a time.

03 / HOW I APPROACH THE WORK

Built to run.
Designed to
be understood.

A deployment is one moment. Operating the system is the longer story. My DevOps approach connects architecture, delivery, and operations so the team has a clear path forward.

Explore the engagement blueprints

01 / UNDERSTAND THE SYSTEM

Start with the constraints.

Map the workload, dependencies, failure modes, and business priorities. Agree what reliability, recovery, security, and cost need to look like before choosing the architecture.

WORKLOAD → TRADE-OFFS → ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

02 / MAKE CHANGE REPEATABLE

Build a path the team can trust.

Keep infrastructure in version control. Automate the repeatable steps, review the changes, test the recovery path, and make environment configuration explicit.

INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE → CI/CD → CONTROLLED RELEASES

03 / CLOSE THE OPERATING LOOP

Visibility is part of the architecture.

Connect service health, logs, metrics, and traces to an owner and a response. Document the decisions and runbooks so the system stays understandable after the handover.

MONITOR → INVESTIGATE → RECOVER → IMPROVE

04 / FROM CHALLENGE TO DELIVERY

Clear milestones.
Tangible deliverables.

Reference blueprints for common infrastructure challenges. Explore the proposed scope, delivery milestones, and acceptance checks for an engagement.

Scope first. Validate at every milestone. Leave a system the team can operate.

REFERENCE BLUEPRINT / PROPOSED SCOPE01 — 04

A clear migration path. A controlled cutover.

You need to move an application or modernize an existing AWS environment without losing control of dependencies, data, or the cutover.

ENGAGEMENT AIM

A staged migration with a rehearsed rollback path and an operating model your team can own.

  1. 01

    Map the starting point

Inventory workloads, network paths, data dependencies, and operational constraints. Agree recovery objectives and identify what can move together.

Acceptance check: Dependency map, migration waves, and acceptance criteria agreed.
  2. 02

    Build the landing zone

Define network boundaries, least-privilege access, environment separation, remote state, and audit logging in versioned infrastructure.

Acceptance check: Infrastructure reviewed and a clean environment reproducible from code.
  3. 03

    Rehearse the move

Test data movement, application behavior, backup restoration, and a rollback sequence in a representative environment before the production change window.

Acceptance check: Data validation, smoke tests, and rollback rehearsal recorded.
  4. 04

    Cut over, then stabilize

Move traffic in controlled stages, watch application and database signals, and verify the agreed acceptance checks before closing the rollback window.

Acceptance check: Service checks, ownership, runbooks, and the handover completed.

WHAT YOU TAKE AWAY

  • Migration readiness assessment
  • Terraform landing-zone modules
  • Cutover & rollback runbook
  • Operational handover
